Our Church is situated 15 miles south west of Peterborough City centre.
Methodism came to Oundle before 1810 and in 1981 we sold our building on the main street and worshipped in borrowed rooms until 1985 when we moved into our refurbished telephone exchange (built between the wars). Our building is our main asset and is used by more than 8 community groups including a foodbank and the Baptist Church (as well as interdenominational Lent Lunches). We meet for worship on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and for study, fellowship, prayer and hymn singing on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.
We have 15 members and expect about 12 at Sunday worship and about 7 on Wednesdays when we are fortunate to have a local preacher or a minister to lead us. We are a warm, supportive and welcoming church and have welcomed a trickle of new members over recent years.
